Grandmother- my grandmother was the backbone of our family. She was the one that kept us in line. My grandmother made sure I was up every morning for school. She made sure there was a hot meal waiting for me when I came home. My grandmother was there to guide me through every step I needed to know growing up as a young woman.
Mother- My mother was a single parent, so of course she did what she had to do to make ends meet for me and my siblings. My mother was there whenever she could be. She was a good provider and caregiver. She made sure that we got the best in life. All that my grandmother didn't teach me she was there to finish the job. My mother was different from other parents. She gave her love in different ways. She was never able to come right out and say that she loved us, but we knew that she did.
My siblings- My two sister and one brother was great supports. We were so closed until we shared each other pain. We made sure that one was never left out. We never went anywhere without the other. No matter what the situations may be the support and comfort was always there.
Dad- My dad supported me when ever he could, even though he lived far away from me, he called occasionally. I know he meant well. As a parent doing his part, he would always pick me up during the summer so that he could prove that he was a caring father. He wasn't always able to give me everything that I needed but he always gave me his love and support.
Childhood friends- I didn't have many friends growing up. I was guess what you called a loner. I did everything by myself. I had only one friend and she was just like a sister to me. We met in kindergarten had been friends every since. We attended all our classes and breaks together. and whenever she wasn't at school then I was all by myself. The children at my school wasn't very friendly, well some of the m wasn't. They like to teased you if you didn't have the finer clothes or things that they had. But in the end everything worked out fine.
