Personal Childhood Blog

My favorite childhood story is the  Ugly Duckling. I like this story because no matter how much the little duckling was teased and talked about. He knew that he was  ugly but in the end he turned out to be a beautiful swan. This story teaches us not judge a person outside, it's what's on the inside that counts.

A few years ago I was talking to a child and he was talking about his dad. He said that his dad left because he didn't want  him and his mom anymore. He asked me why did his dad leave him and for once I had no answer for him. I felt helpless. The child look as if he wanted to cry but he just didn't know that I was crying for him on the inside.

A slogan that is used at my job setting " Learning Years are Early Years"
